Uses that fit a free generator
Link a Facebook page, a menu, a Google review form, or a WhatsApp chat. Those are all static URLs you can make on qrfyy.
- Menu on the table
- WiFi for guests
- WhatsApp on the counter
- Google review card
Keep payment QRs separate
GCash and QR Ph codes are issued by your wallet or bank. Do not replace them with a homepage QR. Read QR Ph for small businesses.
A small set is enough
Most shops need three codes, not ten: the official payment QR from the wallet, a menu or Facebook link from qrfyy, and guest WiFi if customers sit down.
Label payment and information differently
Write “Pay” on the wallet code and “Menu” or “Message us” on the qrfyy code. Same size, same black square, different job. Customers should not have to guess.
Payment QR and link QR
Keep these two jobs apart. The payment code is issued by GCash, your bank, or Maya. A qrfyy code only opens a page. See GCash for your store, QR Ph, and sari-sari stores.
| Official payment QR | qrfyy link QR | |
|---|---|---|
| What it does | Starts a payment in the wallet or bank app | Opens a web page in the browser |
| Who issues it | GCash, your bank, or Maya | You, after you paste a link you already have |
| What it works with | That provider's payment flow | A phone camera |
FAQ
Do I need a Philippine phone number to use qrfyy?
No. The generator runs in the browser.
Is a Facebook QR a payment code?
No. It opens the Facebook page. Payment still uses the QR from your bank, GCash, or Maya.
Can one code do payment and the menu?
No. Print two codes and label them. The payment code comes from the wallet. The menu code is a link from qrfyy.
