WhatsApp QR Code: Let Customers Chat in One Scan
Turn a WhatsApp click-to-chat link into a QR code for a counter, poster, or card.
By James Dom · ·
Build the chat link
Use https://wa.me/ followed by your number in international form, with no plus sign or spaces. Example: https://wa.me/639171234567
Make the QR code
Paste that link into qrfyy. Download PNG or SVG and place it next to a short line like “Message us on WhatsApp.”
Add a starter message if you want one
You can add ?text= after the wa.me link so the chat opens with a draft, such as “Hi, I would like to order.” Keep it short. The customer can still edit it before sending.
Where to print it
Use the WhatsApp generator and put one code on the counter or the door. A second code for the menu should be labeled separately so people do not message you when they only wanted the menu.
