Free QR Code Scanner

Point your camera at a code, or upload a picture of one. qrfyy reads it in the browser. There is no app and no signup.

Works on phone and laptop — allow camera when prompted.

How it works

  1. Choose the camera and allow access, or choose Upload Image.
  2. Hold the code inside the frame, or pick a PNG or JPG from your device.
  3. The decoded text appears on the page. A web link can be opened from there.

The scanner reads the same kinds of codes the generator makes: a web link, WiFi details, a vCard, and plain text. It does not pay anyone, join a WiFi network for you, or save a contact unless you use the text it shows.

Camera frames and uploaded files stay on the device. This page does not send them to a qrfyy server. A dark, glare-covered, or tiny code can fail. Move closer, add light, or upload a clearer picture.

It reads a website, a WiFi string, a contact card, and plain text. After the text appears, copy it or open the link yourself. qrfyy does not save that result. If the browser blocks the camera, use Upload Image with a photo you already took. Hold the phone steady, fill the frame, and avoid a bright reflection on a laminated card. A code that is torn through a corner, or too small in the photo, may still fail. Make a new code rather than expecting the scanner to repair it.

Scanner FAQ

Is the qrfyy QR scanner free?

Yes. There is no signup, no app install, and no count cap in the scanner.

Are images uploaded to qrfyy?

No. The camera preview and an uploaded image are decoded in your browser. The scanner does not send that image to qrfyy.

Does the scanner work on mobile?

Yes. Open the scanner on your phone, allow camera access, and point at the code. If the phone has no camera, use Upload Image.

Can it scan a damaged code?

A blurry, torn, or low-contrast code may not decode. The scanner does not repair the image. Use a sharper photo, or make a new code.

Can I create QR codes after scanning?

Yes. Use the free QR code generator to create WiFi, vCard, menu, and URL codes.
