What an API is for
Developers call an API to turn a string into a PNG inside their checkout, tickets, or app. That requires a server and a key.
qrfyy
qrfyy is a website you use by hand. There is no public API. If you only need a few codes, use the generator.
What to use instead
For a poster, a card, or a short list of links, use the generator or the bulk page. Both run in the browser. You download the files. There is nothing to authenticate.
When you actually need an API
You need one when your own app must create a new image for every order or ticket without a person clicking download. That is a developer product with a key and a server. qrfyy does not offer that key.
